More Dixie photos

Hi! I'm hanging out in the backyard with my foster mom, Sue. She has trouble taking still photos of me because I'm always moving! But sometimes I do stop to catch my breath or chew a stick...

I'm running, spinning, panting, smiling....always smiling....

Isn't she the cutest thing?

Getting spayed today

Dixie is at the vet today getting spayed and microchipped. The vet called to tell me she did great. Everyone at the clinic thinks she is adorable, of course. I will go get her late this afternoon. I have new pictures and some video to post.

Everyone who meets Dixie falls in love and cannot believe she hasn't found her forever home yet. Well, the truth is that I haven't had her out and about much. I was kind of waiting until after she was spayed. As soon as she heals, I will get her out and visiting at events. She is now an official Independent Animal Rescue so she can go to events and meet people. I think folks will be fighting for her. I will, of course, be selective of her home because she deserves a wonderful, caring home that will give her lots of training and attention.

Dixie, the southern Cockapoo puppy

Meet Dixie the cutest little Cockapoo pup you'll meet. She is a chocolate brown with brown eyes and nose. She is 7 months old.

Dixie is a little spitfire as the photos of her will show. She would make a terrific agility dog. She is incredibly athletic, has an engine that won't quit, and is both food and toy motivated. I've taught her to run a tunnel, take jumps, and lay on a table.

One of the best things about her is her sunny disposition. She is always happy. I've never seen her meet a person she didn't like. She does well with other dogs if they can put up with her intensity. She has been able to make friends with most of the dogs that come through my household (overly shy dogs have not liked her).
